I was born and raised in a small town off the coast of North Carolina called Plymouth. After years of many jobs and marriages, I relocated to Lansing, Michigan where I went back to school to get my high school diploma. I went directly into an adult education training program where I learned to work on computers. I worked for a local computer company before hiring into the State of Michigan in 1995.

I work for a division of Telecomm within the Department of Information Technology. My job is usually interesting due to the fact that I work within network security. Always something going on to keep you busy.
